Senior Life newspapers received seven awards in the National Association of Mature Publishers of America 2007 Annual Award competition. The competition provides special recognition for excellence in senior publications.
NAMPA represents 35 publications nationwide, all targeting adults 50 years of age and better. Senior Life competed in Division D, publications of 100,001 circulation and over.
First place awards were received in Best Ad Series, which showed a continuity of theme; Best Self Promotion, a series of ads promoting the use of our own publication; Best black and white ad; and Community Service Article.
Second place awards were received in Most Improved Publication, showing major improvements in editorial content and design; Best Banner, the publication name appearing on the cover of our publication; and Best Single Color Ad.
Senior Life publishes five regional publications monthly for individuals 50 years of age and better in northern and central Indiana: Elkhart/Kosciusko counties, South Bend/St. Joseph and surrounding counties, Northwest Indiana including Lake and Porter counties, Fort Wayne/Allen and surrounding counties and Indianapolis/Marion and surrounding counties.

The awards were presented at the 15th annual National Awards Convention held in November. Vicky Howell, sales manager for Senior Life of Northern Indiana, attended the convention.
