NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF
ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION RESOLUTION BY KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, INDIANA AND NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on April 10, 2014, the County Council of Kosciusko County, Indiana, will review the adoption of Resolution No. 14-04-10-001 ERA declaring Certain Land within Kosciusko County, Indiana, as a continued Economic Revitalization Area, as the term is defined in Indiana Code Section 6-1.1-12.1-1, et seq., for the purpose of providing Tax Abatement availability to that area.
A description of the area affected together with a copy of the Resolution is available and can be inspected at the Kosciusko County Assessor&quo;s Office, 100 West Center Street, Warsaw, Indiana 46580.
The Area affected is located at multiple parcels in Kosciusko County, Indiana, with common addresses as follows:
1. 56 East Bell Drive, Warsaw, Indiana;
2. 332 East Bell Drive, Warsaw, Indiana;
3. 351 East 250 North, Warsaw, Indiana;
4. 2094 North Boeing Road, Warsaw, Indiana; and,
5. 387 East Bell Drive, Warsaw, Indiana.
The substance of the Resolution is to allow Tax Abatement for improvements to be made within the described Areas, with the Proposed Tax Abatement for improvement to the Areas to be for a period of up to ten years as determined on a case-by-case basis by the County Council, giving consideration to the nature and size of the improvements, the employment to be generated, the prior development of the area and any employment and employment opportunities, to the citizens of Kosciusko County, increase in the Assessed Valuation of Kosciusko County, and the attraction of other development to Kosciusko County. The specific request pending before the County Council is for ten years of Tax Abatement on improvements to real estate and upon machinery and equipment at all locations.You are FURTHER NOTIFIED that on April 10, 2014, at 7:00 p.m., at the Kosciusko County Courthouse, Warsaw, Indiana, the Kosciusko County Council will receive and hear all comments, remonstrances, and objections, from interested persons or from anyone else who may attend. In addition, anyone may, prior to the meeting, submit to the Auditor of Kosciusko County any written comments, and those comments will be considered at the hearing. After hearing all evidence, the Kosciusko County Council will and shall take final action determining whether qualifications have been met, and shall pass a Resolution confirming, modifying and confirming, or rescinding the said Declaratory Resolution No. 14-04-10-001 ERA, and thereby approving or denying Tax Abatement for the applicant in this instance, Biomet, Inc. (and Biomet Manufacturing Corp. and Biomet Orthopedics LLC).
